Smart Grooming Smart Coats Thinner

 Smart Coats by Smart Grooming are an amazing thinning tool that uses the same principle as Smart Tails and Smart Manes, but with a wider blade width of 5'. 

They are brilliant for removing the thick winter undercoat.  The Smart Coats thinning rake has been tried and tested on ponies with Cushings and Donkeys and Shetland ponies who tend to be heavily coated all year round. 

If the Smart Coats thinner is used continuously during the non shedding season it will thin the coat by cutting. Using them in the Spring time on all other large animals as well, will allow removal of the winter coat to be done very quickly as the head is so wide.

Great for thick matted coats on all types of animals including dogs, horses, donkeys, camels, goats etc

These tools are available in coarse or fine. Takes replacement blades and is interchangeable.
They do not give a smooth clipped finish but do leave the coat tidy.
