Getting Your Blades Sharpened
All you need to do is purchase blade sharpening through our website and send your blades/scissors with your order number to our Devon Workshop. They will be sharpened and returned to you with Royal Mail. Please refer to our turnaround times below.
Standard postage (2-3 working days) is included in the cost of sharpening. If you choose express postage, once your blades are sharpened we will send them on a next working day service.

We recommend sending with Royal Mail on a Tracked or Signed For service so that you know your blades have arrived safely as we are unable to confirm the safe arrival of blades.

Packaging Your Blades
We recommend ensuring your blades are securely packaged when sent to us. Padded envelopes are suitable for 2-3 blades whilst larger quantities are better sent in a rigid box with additional padding so the blades cannot move in transit.
Don’t forget to include:
- Your Name
- Contact Number
- Order Number
- Your Return Address on the back of the package

We receive deliveries of blades daily, but they are not opened until they are in the workshop.
Once on the work bench they are matched with your pre-paid invoice, sharpened and then returned to you
During peak times (October-December) we receive large numbers of blades which are sharpened in order of receipt.

Your blades will be packaged appropriately and returned by Royal Mail using Tracked 48 as standard, or Tracked 24 if express shipping is selected at checkout.

We endeavour to keep our turn around times to an absolute minimum but September—December is notoriously busy. We post regular updates relating to turnaround times on our sharpening page and on our social media pages—we kindly ask that you take note of these before sending your blades in for sharpening.
Our current turnaround time as of 15/10/24 is 3 working days from arrival, although this is subject to change.

Unless it is obvious that damage to a blade has occurred in transit to us, we will assume that you are already aware.
If however, damage does occur in transit to us, we will notify you prior to sharpening.
