Solar Lighting for Outdoor Arenas

Ride at night this winter! Our Solar Arena lighting provides a low-cost solution to winter riding, providing lighting to areas where an off grid solution is needed. 

The Solar Arena Light provides illumination to outdoor riding arenas without the need for hard wiring into the mains, or where planning permission may prove difficult with traditional floodlights.  These lights are ideal for lighting all sorts of outdoor areas including car parks, gate and walk ways and paddock and feeding areas.  They can be used for longer periods of use or on PIR mode for security lighting use.

The solar light is a neat design incorporating an integrated solar panel, which delivers power to the internal lithium ion battery, this is all within the light unit. This all-in-one solar floodlighting solution can deliver 1000 lumens for up to 2-3 hours use per 24 hour period.  It has two lighting options which gives flexibility of use.  It can be used in two ways:

1. on a timer mode for arena riding

1. on PIR mode for movement activated use for either security lighting and walkways where lighting is only needed for a short period.

An easy to install system.  Just fix on to a 4m scaffold pole and secure to the arena post and rail fencing and adjust the angle to 30 degrees for maximum effect.   Alternatively, it can be fitted to a wall mounting.  The Arena light is fully weather resistant and will not deteriorate if permanently left outside. It can withstand temperature changes from -25 to +65 degrees.

For an arena measuring 40m x 20m and for flatwork purposes we suggest 6 lights, add an additional 2 lights for jumping.
